Nestled amongst the pines and cedars of the Sierras, our mountain home is the perfect place for a vacation any time of the year. Located in Sugar Pine, California, off Sonora Pass (Highway 108), it is minutes from the historical gold rush communities of Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and Twain Harte. Beautiful Pinecrest Lake and the Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are just a short drive away. Yosemite National Park is about an hour drive, close enough for a day-trip.
Sugar Pine Cabin is truly a home-away-from-home. It is a spacious tri-level home, located on a quiet cul-de-sac, amid two-hundred foot tall pine and cedar trees. Guests have access to Sugar Pine Lake, a private lake that is only a three-minute walk from the cabin. There is also a small creek at the back of the property.

Sugar Pine Cabin is easy to find, within a half a mile of Highway 108. It is far enough to be out of the way, but not buried in a hard-to-find neighborhood. The nearby private lake is gated and has its own beach and swimming area. The lake can also be fished and is stocked with plenty of pan fish such as bluegill, crappies and bass. It's a great place to teach your kids to fish! Be sure to bring a stringer or creel along with your license because it's unlikely you'll leave empty-handed. Be sure to read the regulations regarding use of the lake posted within the cabin.
