I have a little bit of unclear or conflicting information regarding Woody and his application and his violations. I think the letter can be somewhat general but we should also retain some specifics to justify the forfeiture of his access card. Although not necessary, I would like to include as much factual information as possible.
The questions I have are:
When did he apply for and receive his key?
For what address was the key obtained?
My understanding is Woody is renting the residence he resides in and owns two properties as STRs. The STRs are on Redwood and Middlecamp. What is the address Woody currently resides at?
Steve, you indicated you told him the key you were issuing was not for rental use and he acknowledged he would not use it for rental purposes. Did the conversation take place on the phone or in person? Approximately what date?
Doug, the card # you sent me was 006. Was it seized or does Woody still have it?
Steve, #006 is the card you issued Woody?
Doug, the violations you provided me are:
Between June 30 and July 9 three separate groups of short term renters were seen using the lake facility. All three groups were staying at an address of 23918 Redwood Dr., a short term vacation rental advertised on Airbnb and VRBO as such. When approached, the renters provided the access key and it was the same key issued to Woody with the understanding it was for private use and not for use of guests of his STRs. At least one guest stated Woody acknowledged he was not supposed to give them the key.
Let me know the answers to the questions above and I'll complete the body of the letter.
